CEPIL experience in providing legal aid and court room representation to deprived and marginalized communities and individuals has shown that many citizens including the poor and indigent people will be able access justice on their own if they have simplified versions of the processes and procedures for seeking justice in these institutions.
It is in this light that CEPIL with funding support from STAR-Ghana has developed these simplified guidelines of the processes and procedures for accessing justice in the High Court and Circuit Courts to enhance the ability of citizens especially the poor, women and the disadvantaged in society to access justice without assistance of a lawyer.
