PROMOTION AND PROTECTION OF FUNDAMENTAL HUMAN RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS IN GHANA

The Centre for Public Interest law, has been working to promote and protect fundamental human rights in Ghana through a number of human rights initiatives. Among others, CEPIL has worked to enhance the legal advice through the provision of paralegal services, researching on international human rights jurisprudence and advocating the incorporation into domestic law of international human rights norms, and lobbying parliament for legislative and judicial reforms in order to enhance respect for the rights of citizens.
